Black Suede Band are composed of some of Australia’s most experienced musicians, experts in playing at weddings and corporate functions.

We offer a range of band combinations from DJ Band (DJ mixed with a fusion of live instruments and vocals) to Live Band ranging from3 piece up to 10 piece.

We will create the perfect music combination around your style and budget!

Ceremony and Pre Dinner music is also available along with professional MC Duties.

Black Suede Band are based in Melbourne, however we will travel wherever your event takes us!

Black Suede Band pride ourselves on packing out your dance floor, and having your guests movin’ and groovin’ to our tunes! We have an extensive repertoire to suit mostly everybody’s taste.

Black Suede Band where a dream to work with. They assisted me in carrying all my equipment to and from the ceremony area and then even helped set up my equipment before they performed! We where fortunate to see Black Suede at a friends wedding a few years ago, so when it came time for us to book a band, we contacted Melissa and her wonderful musicians and booked them in. They played great music, all the songs we picked and more. Had everyone up dancing all night and just a great atmosphere. Everyone had a great night and if was to ever have anything on and needed a band, Black Suede will be it... 10/10 for these guys

I could not recommend Black Suede Band enough, they were fantastic at our wedding. At times I didn't know if it was Melissa singing or the DJ - fantastic voice. You sure had everyone up and dancing. You also impressed the venue and they raved about you guys. So thank you for a fantastic night, really made our wedding that extra memorable.

Melissa with the 5 piece band were absolutely amazing! They were professional, they judged the crowd really well and they had absolutely everyone up on the dance floor. Their expertise meant I didn’t have to worry about a thing on our wedding night. They were easy to communicate with and I would definitely hire them again. We are so glad we picked Black Suede for music at our wedding. We had the DJ/band option and also had a acoustic set during canapés. We had so many fabulous comments from our guests. Melissa was so easy to deal with and easy going! We highly recommend Black Suede. you definetly won’t regret it!!
